LoA Application Overview For Registration

 
If you wish to participate in joint submission for any of the substances covered in this website, you must file an application for a so-called Letter of Access ('LoA') per substance or substance group as specified for the specific consortium in the relevant substance section of this website.
 

Purchase of a LoA involves the following steps:

 
  1. Submission of the completed application form via PDF to the email address on the application form (which will be acknowledged by email by Jones Day).
  2. Payment of the prepayment notice that will be emailed to you by Jones Day in PDF format.
  3. On receipt of payment in full, Jones Day will issue a confirmation that prepayment has been received, and Jones Day will issue the joint submission token of the ECHA REACH-IT system that is valid for four weeks. (Formal invoices will be issued later pursuant to the terms of the respective SIEF agreement. For applicable SIEF terms, please refer to the SIEF agreements issued by the respective Lead Registrant.)
  4. After steps 1 to 3 have been completed, you may join the Joint Submission via the ECHA REACH-IT system with the token provided. (See ECHA Guidance on joining the Joint Submission: http://echa.europa.eu/web/guest/joint-submission-member.)  Please note that potential registrants have to submit their individual parts (Article 10 (a) (i), (ii), (iii) (v) and (x) REACH) of the IUCLID 5 registration dossiers separately to ECHA by the relevant deadline.
 
Please note: The LoA will be issued and become effective only after formal invoices have been issued and settled.
 

LoA Application Overview For Authorization

 
If you wish to purchase a letter of access (license) for any authorization dossier parts for any of the substances covered in the authorization section of this website, you must file an application for a so-called Letter of Access ('LoA') per substance and / or use (as the case may be) as specified for the specific consortium in the relevant substance section of this website.

Purchase of a LoA involves the following steps:
 
  1. Your submission of (a) the respective signed license agreement and (b) the completed Annex 1 of the respective license agreement ("Details of Application") via PDF to AMcCabe@jonesday.com (which will be acknowledged by email by Jones Day).
  2. Your payment of the prepayment notice that will be emailed to you by Jones Day in PDF format.
  3. On receipt of your payment in full, Jones Day will issue a confirmation that prepayment has been received, and Jones Day will provide you with a word version the authorization dossier parts within the scope of the license applied for that you can use to complete and file your own application for REACH authorization.  Formal invoices will be processed in periodic batches.
